The New Year has welcomed us here in the Coachella Valley with unseasonably cooler temperatures, but that hasn’t deterred the hearty golfers at Trilogy Golf Club.

The golf course continues to be in fine shape. Many have commented that the greens are the best they have played in the valley this year.

The celebrity watch is on, with the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic gracing the Desert this week. We had a celebrity sighting of our own - Tiger Wood’s instructor Hank Haney was out here. He was involved in an infomercial shoot for the SmartPath, a new training device. Mr. Haney spent the whole day here, and he was quite impressed with our facility. He was very accommodating, allowing us to use him for a safety video that we were taping the same day. Rick Alexander was the star of the Safety Video.

Upcoming events at the Azul Restaurant will include a Super Bowl Bash and a St. Patrick's Day Dinner.

The Wednesday Tapas Bar has been a success. Remember to travel down the road to Azul Restaurant after the homeowner Happy Hour at the Santa Rosa Club, and enjoy great food, live music, and a fun atmosphere.

The Azul Restaurant will be catering the Valentine’s Day Dinner at the Santa Rosa Club, which means that the Azul Restaurant being closed on St. Valentine’s Day.

I want to take a moment to thank all of you who filled out the Golf Digest “Places to Play” survey. Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta was awarded a '4-out-of-4' Star rating. The rest of America is finding out what we already know about Trilogy.

The Trilogy Golf Club website continues to grow and improve. Look for some exciting new tools and information over the next couple of months.
