If this is your first time to the Trilogy Blog, welcome! If you are returning, welcome back!

Where to start? We have been extremely busy here at Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta. Extremely high winds on Tuesday and Wednesday created a most fabulous weekend for us. The high winds brought on cooler temperatures that were ideal for golf. Saying that we were 'busy' over the weekend would be an understatement.

The next couple of weeks will see continued busy days, including a couple of events that you don’t want to miss.

This week includes the US Open, which will include a great deal for Dads who play on Sunday. We will also have a US Open tournament; the Entry Fee is $20.00 plus green fees. You pull a Tour player name out of the hat, then you match his Sunday score with your net score to get a total. We will pay out 1/3 of the field in golf shop gift certificates. After the event, stay for our Father’s Day BBQ and watch the final round of the US Open on our 4 big flat screen televisions. Call for reservations for the BBQ, as seating is limited.

The McGladrey Team Championship is coming! Sign up your 3 person team for this new and exciting qualifier for a national event. We have information sheets in the golf shop or you can go online to http://www.mcgladreyteamchampionship.com to get more details.

On the retail side, we have two exciting sales going on right now. The $59.00 shirt and hat special has been going strong. Through the end of June, all men’s and ladies golf shoes will be 30% off. This is for in-stock items only. Don’t forget your father this weekend!

Chef Isaias and his staff in the Azul Restaurant continue to deliver some of the finest meals in the desert! We invite you to our Happy Hour from 3pm to 5pm. The patio menu and drink specials flow like a quiet river, soothing you after a busy day of golf or work.

On the Anthony Kim watch, a great weekend moved Anthony up to 20th place last week in Memphis. Anthony now heads to Pittsburg to play in the US Open. Anthony is no stranger to USGA events. Anthony made it to the finals and quarter finals the past two years in the US Amatuer and the US Publinks Championship.

Until next week keep rolling that rock!
