From Santa Barbara, California...
As I write this week’s Blog, I find myself in the coastal town of Santa Barbara, California. I am here as a Golf Instructor for a Fellowship of Christian Athletes. It is like a busman’s holiday. It will be strange to be out of the triple digit temperatures. I actually had to find a couple of pullovers for the cooler nights.
Well let’s drift back to Trilogy and get you up to date on the activities. The upcoming One Man Scramble is starting to fill up fast, thanks to those who have already signed up! For those who are sitting on the fence, the time is now to sign up before we close the entries. We have two different age divisions and 5 different handicap flights in each age group. Winners of each division will advance to the State Championship at PGA West in October.
This July we are really rolling out some value added green fee programs. Please review our webpage for specials and also be aware of our email specials that will be coming out. Anyone who drops off their new email address will be in a drawing for a 10-round green fee coupon. This program will roll out July 9th, 2007.
Check into our Peak Green Fee specials while our SunDog sunglass supply lasts. Purchase a Peak round green fee and we will throw in a pair of sunglasses, free.
With the temperatures rising we have a great number of midday and afternoon tee times. Check out our “Supersize Your Round Promotion;” for an additional $10.00 to your green fee, you can play all day.
This weekend we are offering you an all-weekend rate of $99.00. You can play as much golf as you want on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Additional rounds are based on space availability.
Azul Restaurant at Trilogy said good bye to Isaias Briones, our F&B Director since January. Isaias’s heart compelled him to get back in the Kitchen to fill his creative desires as a Chef. He will spend the summer being a hired gun to some major events in the San Diego area. We wish him the best of luck. You would be hard pressed to find a better and more creative Chef. Speaking of Chefs, we will continue to have the services of Chef Roy “El Gato Grande” Luna. For those of you who are not bilingual, it means "Big Cat"... a nickname I gave him on his arrival in October. Roy will continue to roll out a great menu, with daily lunch specials.
Resumes are being reviewed for the Head Golf Professional position as well as the Food and Beverage Director. Both positions will be filled by the middle of September. Brandon has reviewed and interviewed quite a few candidates. If you or someone you know is interested, please feel free to contact us.
Until next week, keep rolling that rock!
