Like lilies on the pond, the grass is increasing in density everyday. The golf course is coming along nicely. We look to be back on the fairways with the golf cars by this Thursday, October 25th, 2007.

We have a busy week with some outside groups. Today we entertain a group of 24 players from Mariners Church, and the US Tourney Outing. Tuesday, Anheuser Busch is sponsoring a golf event at our facility for the T-birds Restaurants. T-Birds operate many of the Outback Steakhouses throughout the country. This event will be a 2:00pm Shotgun on the front nine for a 9 Hole event.

The Trilogy Community Member Appreciation night was a great success. The dance floor was hopping, the food buffet was impressive, and The Evaro Brothers continue to wow our existing community members along with all the new community members. I even heard someone say that they thought they were lip synching. What, you think we would bring you Milli Vanilli? These guys are that good!

Congratulations to the Winners of the Good Life Games yesterday. Rick Emerton, who was rumored to say the only way he was getting to Arizona was to carry Lois’s golf bag, won by finishing 4 points over his assigned quota. The Ladies division was won by Sue Sweet who finished 1 point below her quota. Sounds like the Emertons and the Sweets are going to have a great couple’s weekend thanks to Shea Homes. Congratulations to both couples, and thanks to everyone else who participated.

The First Annual Couples Club Championship is slated for Sunday, November 4th. You can sign up in the golf shop. Registration is still open. We will cap the group at 30 couples. Sign up before it’s too late!

Feedback from the Azul Restaurant has been fantastic. Food and Beverage Manager Della Lemons and Executive Chef Roy Luna have their staff well trained and ready to serve you. Friday night's dinner was sold out. With the food we are offering and the service standard that we have set, that will be the norm. My suggestion is to always make your reservations early!

The next dinner night at Azul Restaurant is this Friday, October 26th, 2007. It's a Pasta Night and it will run from 6pm to 8pm. Dinner will be $15.95 plus tax and tip. Dinner will include Caesar Salad with bread Sticks, with the choice of Pasta Puttanesca with chicken, Fettuccini Alfredo with Shrimp, or Spinach Ravioli with Pesto Cream Sauce. Dessert will be Trio of Profiteroles.

The golf course continues to be at almost full capacity. We continue of offer some great specials on our website - trilogygolfclub.com/laquinta. Because we are one of the few golf courses open right now I suggest you make your golfing plans early.

On the retail side, the golf shop is getting new inventory in every day. Come down and get yourself dressed in the newest materials and brightest colors the industry has to offer.

For all you football fanatics, the Grizzlies and Ducks continue to dominate. Grizzlies roll to a 52-7 victory over the Northern Colorado Bears. The Ducks also rolled to a 55-34 win over the Washington Huskies. After the 58 points that the Ducks rolled up last week you'd think they were playing basketball!

Until next week keep rolling that rock!
