Last week was bittersweet, as we had two of our managers leave Trilogy. We are sad to see them go, but we know that their decisions are what are best for them and their future.
General Manager Brandon O’Neill, a staple here at Trilogy, has taken a new General Manager position in Virginia. Brandon will be missed, but we are excited for him and the new challenges that he will face. Brandon was one of the longest working employees here at Trilogy, starting out in the outside service area in 2002 and working his way up to the General Manager position, one that he has had for over a year.
Nick Mitchell, Head Golf Professional, has always had the dream of developing a career playing golf. He felt that this was the time to follow that dream. We wish Nick all the luck and will be looking for his name as he travels through the Mini-Tour circuit. Nick has all the length it takes to play tour level golf. He just needs the opportunity to play and practice on a consistent basis.
A new General Manager will be named and in place by Friday, June 27th, 2008.
Todd Mielke, Golf Operations Manager at Trilogy Redmond Ridge, has come down to help out while we are in transition. Stop on by and introduce yourself and give him a big Trilogy La Quinta welcome.
What a difference a week makes. On Tuesday morning I was recounting the great Tiger Woods win at Torrey Pines, and by Wednesday we were being informed that he is out for the year. This is the PGA Tour’s method of sharing the wealth. Now the $10 million FedEx Cup is really up for grabs! Major Championships in general are up for grabs; what a season remaining!
On the Anthony Kim watch, Anthony is preparing for the next World Golf Championship and then off to Tiger Woods' AT&T Championship, followed by the British Open. Anthony plans on spreading out his playing to prepare for what well might be an Official Ryder Cup invitation and then the FedEx Cup.
Check out our upcoming specials for May, lots of great golf, golf balls and lunches! Don’t miss out - www.Trilogygolfclub.com/laquinta
Until next week, keep rolling the rock!
