Oh the thrill of taking down the ropes and getting golf cars on the fairways! As of last Friday, we are employing the 90 degree rule with the golf cars.

We still continue to be at capacity in rounds each day. On Saturday we finished with 227 players! Thanks for all those who have come out to enjoy the course.

The First Annual Couples Club Championship is slated for Sunday, November 4th. Pairing will be finalized on Friday, November 2nd. We will get the Shotgun off between 11:45am and 12:00pm noon. The event fee is $60.00 per couple, which includes team prizes, special hole prizes, and dinner to follow.

This coming Friday, November 2nd we will have a Nike Equipment Demo Day. The time is slated for 9:00am to 2:00pm. Meet with representatives from Nike and demo their newest products on the market.

We have some great specials being offered for early morning play or twilight. Always check us out at http://www.trilogygolfclub.com/laquinta for our weekly specials.

Sales of the 2008 Hybrid Pass continue, with the added bonus of a $750.00 value packet for people who purchase any 50 round coupon program. There have been some discussions around modifications to the Hybrid Pass. Nothing has been finalized. I would suggest asking us before talking to anyone else. Many people have come to the counter with incorrect information concerning restrictions on the pass. Talk to us and we will keep everything clear.

I said it last week, but I will continue to make it a point that golf professional Nick Mitchell and his golf professional staff continue to bring some of the best clothing the golf market has to offer. Don’t be the last person on your block to get the new Trilogy Golf Club logo merchandise!

For all you football fanatics, the Grizzlies and Ducks continue to roll. Grizzlies won a hard fought game over Northern Arizona 21-16 in Flagstaff, always a tough place. With the win they almost assured themselves another Big Sky Championship. It was absolutely humorous to see General Manager Brandon O’Neill in and out of the golf shop on Saturday as his Ducks were battling USC. Brandon couldn’t sit still until the final gun. The Ducks' victory knocked the Trojans out of the BCS for the first time in years. The win sets up a Pac-10 Showdown between the once beaten Ducks and the undefeated Sun Devils of Arizona State. The winner is in position for a possible national championship bid, or at least a BCS bid. Brandon is already pacing on Monday for this upcoming weekend.

For any Oklahoma Sooner fans out there, I will be heading to Norman on Thursday November 8th to see my son Paull and watch the Sooners take on the Bears of Baylor.
My first trip to Oklahoma, should be fun!

Until next week, keep rolling that rock!
