I would like to welcome our New General Manager, Tom Catanzarite, to Trilogy Golf Club at La Quinta. Tom is very familiar with the Coachella Valley, having served as the General Manager at Mission Hills Country Club a few years back. Tom is very excited to be here and to move the dial on our guest experience and member services. He has a great deal of background in the food and beverage arena, and you will see some new and fun ideas from the Azul Restaurant between now and the reopening this fall.
Tom has an open door policy, so if you have any questions, feel free to stop by and meet with him. At this time all remaining managers - Leah Stewart, Roy Luna, Scott Werline, and myself - are still in place to provide you with the professional, courteous and friendly service you're accustomed to, plus one of the best conditioned golf courses in the Coachella Valley.
We will be setting a date for a Meet the GM Ice Cream Social so keep your eyes peeled for emails and bulletins on MyTrilogyLife.com. We also will be starting our process to interview new candidates for the Head Golf Professional position. This position will be filled by, or just after, our overseeding process.
On the Anthony Kim watch, Anthony is preparing for Tiger Woods' AT&T Championship, followed by the British Open. Anthony plans on spreading out his playing to prepare for what may well be an Official Ryder Cup invitation and the FedEx Cup. He is now being featured in a new Nike Commercial alongside KJ Choi, and Trevor Immelman. Last week Anthony just signed a contract to be represented by IMG, the same firm that represents Tiger Woods! He is taking this all in stride, and is working on getting his game to a level where he will compete for the title each week. You will see some more amazing things from this 23 year old through the balance of this year.
